CHINESE COURSE FOR ADULT

At the moment, LAS only trains one Chinese program for adults including 4 levels with 80% of the time focusing on 3 skills of listening, speaking, reflexes and reading, 20% of writing skills.

Textbook used: based on the standard HSK curriculum and LAS's self-compiled program with highly applied and practical teaching methods.

Learning path:

Level 1.1 (~38 hours)

• Pinyin, Chinese characters (10 hours)
• Basic conversation through situations occurring in daily life (20 hours)
• Storytelling (2.15 hours)
• Music (2.15 hours)

Level 1.2 (~38 hours)

• Basic conversation through recreational activities (20 hours)
• Role-playing (5 hours)
• Email and letter writing skills (5 hours)
• Read stories (5 hours)

Level 1.3 (~54 hours)

• Creative Chinese through acting and filming (10 hours)
• Skills in writing and reading short essays (15 hours)
• Soft skills:
  • Presentation skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Skills to solve situations and questions and give answers (15 hours)
• Communicative Chinese (14 hours)

• Level 1.1: Vietnamese teacher
• Level 1.2 and above: Native teacher
